Massage, Energy Healing & Acupuncture without needles-Sound Therapy

My first experience with sound therapy

Well, this is my first attempt at a blog. I’m told that a blog is a great way for my potential clients and I to get to know each other better. I have always been interested in alternative/complementary healing modalities. After searching my soul for several years, I happened upon sound therapy. Initially, I researched all I could about the subject. I actually took notes as I read (without a professor encouraging me to!!) It was then that I knew I wanted to learn as much as I could about this healing modality.

I decided to go to a sound therapist in Winston-Salem to have a first-hand experience. I LOVED my session! She used tuning forks on and above my body and played Tibetan singing bowls and gongs. During the session, I felt relaxed and safe, surrounded by the rich vibrations. I had a bad cold and a terrible stuffy nose when I visited her.  She worked a lot on my sinuses and head. The next day I could actually breathe! It was hard for me to believe because I had been stopped up for over a week. I felt more energized as well. I knew I was onto something good…
